The Band Thin Ice was founded in August of 2020 in Navarre, Florida.

We’ve always shared an eclectic approach to writing and composition, aiming to shed perspective on the trials of life through an alt-influenced blend of rock, soul, and postmodern. We collectively come together and spend dozens of hours creating something genre-transcendent that inspires us, like we aim to inspire our audience. Our influences range from Led Zeppelin’s iconic riffs, Santana’s searing leads, to Red Hot Chili Peppers’ funkadelic bass rhythms, and TOOL’s thought-provoking messages. Thin Ice brings more than a “show” or a “vibe” to every stage. It’s the human experience personified through music.
